Six multihulls are entered in the Royal Southampton Spring Series, but only three turned out for the first race.
Ben Goodland's Raider 30 cat Team Eberspacher just got away with a port tack start in front of Dragonfly 800 Scooby III.
Eberspacher stretched her lead around the course to win on corrected time, while Scooby III and Tim Wilson's Dragonfly 920 Cold Fusion enjoyed a good tussle with Cold Fusion eventually getiing ahead.
